This distance learning course is very suitable for anyone studying towards a complementary therapy or healing qualification. It covers anatomy and physiology of the human body as well as diseases and disorders. It is a level 3 course and takes approximately 60 hours to complete. The course is designed so you can work in your own time, at your own pace and you have a year to complete it. It includes a text book, a workbook to study from and assessments to complete which are available by email. They are available in Microsoft Publisher or as a pdf file.

The course is divided into 12 sections: This is the book you study from and purchase yourself. Each chapter contains easy to understand information with clear colour diagrams. It also contains sections on diseases and disorders, interrelationships with other systems, list of key words, a revision summary and multiple-choice questions. At the end of the book there is a glossary and index. It also includes information on a related resource website for additional learning.

This includes the programme of study, your own personal study plan, checklists, answers to multiple-choice questions from the text book and additional, optional questions.

There are 12 assessments which are marked by your Tutor. They are completed and returned either by email or post. Each assessment is marked and returned to you usually within a few days.

There are no exams to take.

You gain a Level 3 Certificate from the Aquila Transformation Centre on successful completion of the course.

This course is validated by IPTI for insurance purposes.
